Ulysse Nardin

The passing of time has been kind to Ulysse Nardin.  Since 1846 the company has be awarded 4,300 medals, 18 of which are the highly coveted gold medal.  Resisting the temptation to rest on the past achievements, which would be a  betrayal of over 160 years of unmatched watch making ingenuity, Ulysse Nardin continues to be on the cutting edge of technical innovation.

A part of this innovative atmosphere at Ulysse Nardin is the president Rolf Schnyder who, along with a group of investors, acquired the company back in 1983.  Mr. Schnyder's vision has lifted Ulysse Nardin to heights within the watch industry that had not been achieved prior to his presidency.  Along the way to the upper echelon of the watchmaking elite, Ulysse Nardin has developed some of the most important technological advancements in horology.  These advancements are a direct result of the brilliant mind of Dr. Ludwig Oechslin, who has developed some Ulysse Nardin's most prestigious and highly acclaimed pieces such as the Trilogy of Time and the Freak.
