Christophe Claret is known throughout the watch industry as a watchmaking genius and engineering extraordinaire. Mr. Claret has produced many historically important high-end grand complication movements for some of the most prestigious and unique brands in the watch industry over the past 20 years. Mr. Claret now has his own brand while still developing movements for brands throughout the industry.
Unique and unusual complications have always been Christophe Claret’s forte, and in 2012 he introduced to the world the Soprano, a grand complication featuring a Westminster minute repeater, tourbillon. Several key features include a patented cathedral gong system, a flying tourbillon to regulate the chronometry, a silent inertia governor, open dial work to expose the striking hammers and Charles X inspired stepped bridges. The case is made from titanium and 18kt rose gold.
Picciones’ is set to receive a special serial number for this version of the Soprano. Beyond the incredible technical and aesthetic beauty, the Soprano is extremely limited. Only 8 examples, in three different versions, are scheduled to be produced. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 216-382-7011.
